The Highland Games is an annual celebration of heritage. Held on the grounds of Old Westbury Gardens in Old Westbury, NY, the attracts approximately 7,000 attendees each year. culture is presented through musical performances featuring bagpipes, singers bands; displays of highland country dancers; competitions of traditional highland heavy athletic games, such as the throwing of the caber; explorations of ancestry among the family clans; lectures on culture, books other related topics.
